Have you begun planting seeds for the new year? Now is a good time as the weather gets a bit colder, to go inside. Go dream.

When we were kids, this time of year was magical for me. Family coming together, wishing for snow (and snow days!), playing board games by the fire, dreaming of Santa, singing, and candlelight services.

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

As an adult, feeling that sense of belonging has been, well, hit and miss. The sense of real community and real connection seemed just out of reach. Until now.

The last few years, I have been blessed to learn what community really is, and what community really means. Now, I create this feeling everywhere I go, so that more and more women can experience real connection and community.

As an introvert, I have always cherished time alone. The time to recharge. Now I am surrounded by people who allow me to be me. I feel like I can breathe. No more feeling like I’m a square peg trying to fit in a round hole.

This year has been one of immense learning and changing and growing. And the seeds planted last year are starting to bloom now.

Turns out, my step out with confidence program was also meant for me. Funny how that happens.

My work in the world is changing as a result. I will continue to work with women through coaching and through photography, and will now add the “secret sauce” to help you blast through blocks, unstick the stuck spots, and let go of those thoughts and feelings that no longer serve you. Remember the amazing young girl you were (you know, the one who used to dream, play, laugh, trust, made friends easily, talked to animals and saw angels). Remember?!

I’ve seen so many beautiful sensitive women recently who have “misplaced” their dreams and stopped seeing the world as their playground. That. Stops. Now. Time to get unstuck so you can play on the jungle gym, swing on the swings, play in the sandbox with your friends. Go to camp. Just Because.

If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. ~ African proverb
